The more hard to come by Russian farmhouse culture; Rima!

Rima is a culture that is caramel and toffee forward with hints of nutty earthy and fruity like tones. A subtle biscuit character as well. It makes for a great option when using darker malt farmhouse beers but also does really well in rustic styles of beers. Rima contains Lactobacillus which has an IBU tolerance of around 10. If you are looking for significant souring we suggest adding little to no hops.
